As a multi-instrumentalist, he also worked as a Columbia studio musician, playing on tracks for such artists as Oran Juice Jones, Alyson Williams, Chuck Stanley, earning him favorable reviews for his musicianship by NYC publications the Village Voice and the Daily News.

Maybe best known for being the virtuostic guitar force fronting the world reknown Jimi Hendrix tribute, Kiss The Sky... Mr. Jimy Bleu now takes his natural angelic falsetto vocals to tribute the best of the 70s Soul Singers, AL GREEN, MARVIN GAYE and SMOKEY ROBINSON along with his guitar talents for CURTIS MAYFIELD to bring some love and happiness to the world with... ROMANTASY!

INGRAM FAMILY FUNK BAND

Undoubtedly the first soul music family of Philadelphia, INGRAM, was a multi-talented group of sisters and brothers consisting of Norman (Butch) on bass and trumpet, James on keyboards, vocals, sax and flute; Billy on guitar, bass and trombone, John on lead vocals and percussion; Jimmy on drums, and Tim on percussion and trumpet; with Barbara on lead vocals and her sisters Francis, Edith and Virginia rounding out the singing. They burst on the scene in the mid-seventies with a string of hits that sold well in the northeast and stretched all the way over to England, especially their debut, The Ingram Kingdom. For over a decade the group continued to be recorded as a backing band for a number of original artists and for their own hits under the H&L and Motown labels, still are all active musicians independently and now reunite to form the backing band for THE 70s SOUL SINGERS TRIBUTE.. ROMANTASY!

ROMANTASY BAND

Jimy Bleu has attained the perfect mix of musicians for the funk and feel of the 70s Soul Singers to back him.

Combined with drawing from his extensive network of NYC pro session musicians, Mr. Bleu has enlisted the help of not only his own original band, the DIVINITY, an all-female funk unit but also the first family of Philly's finest funk in the 70s... INGRAM!

There will even be some guest stars sitting in on occasion from Mr. Bleu's touring connections.
